Cooncoolins
A Compilation of works and notes for children and childlike adults

They are very shy and disappear when they notice someone coming too close.

Usually their mornings are spent writing a detailed account of our
dreams and tending to their animals.
In the afternoon they put on their black and white aprons and do their favorite pastime: Painting Cooncoolin scenes and writing explanation notes on the walls under the
beds. These I found under my bed last Wednesday.

The Shloop family keeps the farm animals entertained by dancing the Wambatootoo in the evenings just after dinner on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

  
 
02 Pepeto settles disagreements on where forward is by pointing to the right direction.  
 
03 Cooncoolin cows are kept comfortably in coffee mugs.  
 
04 Toty, Glaty and Meemee try to teach the Tititotamus to jump through a loop for their circus act but he is refusing to do it.  
 
05 Lapango and Pilonto have old shoe pie with onion and potato juice on the Pitoliban’s mobile café  
 
06 Bird traffic controllers are great pole climbers and wear a yellow uniform with special accent colors. The birds don’t really pay attention to them.  
 
07 As it usually happens Pitoleen forgot his head on the park’s bench, luckily it was called to his attention.    
 
08 Poonoo takes the cow for easy walks in the park every afternoon.  
 
09 Bando takes long horseback rides in the country on sunny days.  
 
10 Apolin feeds the giraffe fruit and vegetables making sure it doesn’t hurt his neck by bending it.

 In Flog a hole is hit with a club so it falls on a little ball, it’s the Cooncoolin’s favorite sport.

  
 
12 Tlumba saddles the blue horse and takes him for rides in the park.  
 
13 Gribter takes his chickens camping but only in very comfortable and pampering conditions.  
 
14 The Onomototo is washed and groomed before his mud beauty bath.  
 
15 Cooncoolins run to find a good reason for running.

Kito  and Balina pick up after their dogs.

 
 
17 Boonpaloos pull ferries across shallow rivers or large puddles.  
 
18 The Bageltotonus does a daring sleep-on-a-tightrope act to the delight of the audience.  
 
19 All races are carefully planned and very orderly.  
 
20 The song bird chorus sing lullabies when they wake up every morning.   
 
21 Blue Head Moolingarts do not look down when in flight, they are afraid of heights.

Galumba and Becky dive to bathe the fish and keep the tank sparkling clean.

  
 
23 Rosa gives milk, Liza chocolate milk, Ruthy orange juice and Linda lettuce, tomato and cucumber salad.  
 
24 Henry gets a fresh egg for breakfast every morning.  
 
25 Rita and Maria make milk and cocoa shakes.  
 
26 Fly fishing on Red Wing Loorings is considered a difficult sport.  
 
27 The Flido family carry colorful umbrellas in case red elephants riding on hot air balloons decide to make rain.  
 
28 Toonka and Chipoto dive to attend whale rock concerts.  
 
29 All help Namato to reach and comb the Halitote’s hair.  
 
30 Barnin uses advanced technology to predict yesterday’s weather.  
 
31 When the guys go bungee jumping they leave their heads in a safe place so their hairdo is not ruined.  
 
32 Billon and Kooter were sent to count pelicans but they don’t seem to be able to find any.  
 
33 Beegee, Togo and Moomoo lost their heads while hiking so they sit and wait till Harry the tracker dog finds them.  
 
34 Alligators tend to puncture many balls in soccer matches.  
 
35 In the late evening, when Cooncoolins go to sleep in their boxes, there is always one that stays awake to write down our dreams and to make sure only fun dreams come our way.
